Mercenaries are the one part of this game that belongs to no single army, which makes this pack unusually broad in who it serves. The units inside hire out to different factions depending on the card, so a stable of hired guns follows you from one army to the next without being bought again.

Twenty-five unit cards, fifty-five upgrades and thirty-two command cards is a substantial spread, and the command cards are the part worth dwelling on. Mercenary characters bring their own cards into your deck, so this changes what a list can do within a round rather than only what it is able to field.

For anyone who already owns bounty hunters, pirates or Mandalorians accumulated across several boxes, this gathers all the paperwork into one place.
