Star Wars Legion: Hondo Ohnaka & Weequay Pirates

Four different armies can hire this crew, and that is the strongest reason to own it. The Mercenary keyword on both cards opens them to Empire, Rebel, Separatist and Galactic Republic lists, so one purchase follows you across whatever faction you drift into next.

The Weequay Pirates are a white defense Corps unit that wants to be moving forward. Charge lets them shoot and then fight in the same activation, Swashbuckler rewards them for staying in the melee once they get there, and Versatile on the Weequay blaster means they can keep shooting while engaged. Self-Preservation is the honest catch: these are pirates, and the card makes them behave like pirates when a fight turns against them.

Hondo runs on variable values rather than fixed ones, with Arsenal, Reliable, Uncanny Luck and even his courage keyed to how things are going. Nimble and Disengage let him walk out of a melee he is losing, which is the escape hatch a five wound operative on white defense badly needs.
