Speed 3 on a Special Forces unit is unusual, and paired with Jump 2 it means very little of the table sits out of reach by the second turn. These commandos choose their fight rather than being handed one.

Impervious stops enemy Pierce from working on them, Defend 1 grants a free dodge each round, and red defense dice with a block surge turn those dodges into genuine survivability rather than a brief delay. Independent: Aim 1 means they generate their own aim token when no order reaches them, which matters enormously for a fast unit that will often be operating well away from your commander.

They carry threat at two distances: Westar-35 blasters covering melee out to range 2, and carbines reaching range 3, so they are never fully out of a fight. An Armament slot and a deep upgrade bar let you push them toward shooting or brawling.
