Naming a war machine after storm spirits out of Hindu myth is the sort of thing ALEPH does, and then builds something that earns the name. The Marut is the faction's flagship walker, all sweeping lines and concentrated firepower, and it looks as engineered as the intelligence that designed it.

A TAG is a commitment. It absorbs a large share of your points, it changes which orders you can afford elsewhere, and it becomes the model your opponent plans their whole game around. Handled well it justifies all of that, which is why walkers stay popular despite the risk.

  • Faction: ALEPH, also fielded in Operations Subsection lists.
  • Role: centrepiece heavy walker for an existing force.
  • Who it suits: an established ALEPH player, and painters after a large canvas.

The miniature comes unpainted and unassembled. Piloting a TAG well means knowing when not to move it, which is a lesson that costs a few games to learn, so this is not a first Infinity purchase. Start with a two player set, get comfortable with the order system, and the walker becomes an investment rather than a liability.
