Infinity: Thamyris the Aoidos

ALEPH resurrects heroes, and occasionally it resurrects a poet. Thamyris works as propagandist and hacker for the Steel Phalanx and the Homerids, was lost to the Combined Army, and has been recovered from them, which is exactly the sort of narrative the faction generates as a matter of routine.

On the table he is a hacking asset with rather more character attached than most. Information warfare decides more Infinity games than a first read of the rules suggests, and a dedicated hacker inside a Steel Phalanx list protects your expensive troops while making an opponent's own specialists nervous.

Cast in metal and resin, unpainted and unassembled, so a lone figure makes a quick project between bigger units. Hacking is where Infinity's depth is most obvious and where new players most often stall, so this rewards somebody with games behind them. Start with a two player set if the rules are new, then add the specialists.
