The Empire at its most methodical. Moff Gideon takes the Primary slot and holds the box's Force, a Death Trooper Escort fills Secondary, and two Dark Troopers stand in Support, which is a complete Galactic Civil War era squad from one purchase.

The Dark Troopers are the reason to look twice. Their card carries the Droid tag as well as Galactic Empire, so they are not troopers in the ordinary sense and they line up with droid effects rather than trooper ones. That distinction matters later, when you are deciding which Support to pair with a different Primary.

Gideon is tagged as a Scoundrel as well as Galactic Empire, so he suits both formal Imperial lists and shadier ones. The squad also gives a Mandalorian collector the obvious opponent, which is the confrontation the show is built around.

Not for you if your Imperial shelf is already deep in Stormtroopers and you wanted more of the same, or if you play Clone Wars exclusively. Nothing in this box reaches back that far.
