Moonstone: Nanny

Nanny does not arrive alone. She comes with three of them, and the three are the point.

This Shades set holds four resin models on 30mm bases, each with its own stat card. Nanny herself carries the Risen keyword and sits at nine energy pips with an arcane value of 4, so the summoner is the durable half of the arrangement. Urchin, Pookie and Sprog share the Psychopomp and Babeling keywords at two pips apiece, which makes them about as expendable as anything in the game.

That matters more here than it would elsewhere. A troupe runs to roughly four models, so most boxes give you one or two decisions about where to stand. This one hands a Shades player four separate activations from a single purchase, and cheap activations are currency in a game resolved by card duels rather than dice. Every babeling you push forward is a question your opponent has to answer, and answering costs them cards they were saving for something that mattered.
