This pack introduces the Mighty Avengers, and it is worth being clear about who that affiliation is for. Spectrum, Monica Rambeau, is the leader, and her leadership is built to move Power around your squad. That is a mechanic that pays off in proportion to how many characters you own and how well you understand what each of them wants to spend Power on. A player with a deep collection will find it excellent. A player with two boxes will find it does very little.

Blue Marvel, Adam Brashear, is the more immediately useful of the pair. He is a durable frontline body who also qualifies for the Defenders, so he earns a slot whether or not you commit to Mighty Avengers, and he does not need a specific supporting cast to function.

So: buy this for Blue Marvel if you are still building, and buy it for Spectrum if you already have a shelf of characters and want a new way to organise them. Sensible companions are the Defenders Affiliation Pack, the Avengers Affiliation Pack and Marvel Crisis Protocol: Adam Warlock, Moondragon & Quasar, whose Moondragon also plays Defenders.
