Two leaders in one box is unusual, and it is the practical reason to look at this expansion. Sun Fac arrives as an operative for the Separatist Alliance and Poggle the Lesser as a commander, so a single purchase covers two different slots on your army list.

They want to be used in opposite ways. A commander stays where he can influence the force, issuing orders and playing command cards that set the shape of a round before anything moves. An operative does the reverse: he goes forward, usually alone, and turns himself into a problem the enemy has to divert resources to solve. Running both at once means your opponent is answering two separate threats with one set of decisions, which is an uncomfortable place to be.

Four command cards come with the pair, and for a Separatist player whose command deck has looked the same for a year, that alone earns the box its place.
