A single white attack die per trooper is the honest starting point, and understanding it separates players who use Stormtroopers well from players disappointed by them. On raw numbers they are unremarkable. What they deliver is activations, board presence and somewhere cheap to hang an upgrade.

Precise 1 is the correction. Every aim token they spend rerolls an extra die, so an aim fed in by a nearby commander or a comms upgrade lifts their output well past what the profile suggests. Red defense dice make them noticeably tougher than the white-defense infantry other factions field in the same role, so an Imperial line trades slowly and holds ground. Speed 2 and a rifle covering range 1 to 3 put them squarely in the standard engagement band, and the upgrade bar takes a heavy weapon, a personnel model, gear and grenades.

Eleven miniatures give you a full squad plus alternates, so a second box builds two differently configured squads rather than the same one twice.
