This is not an expansion, it is an army in a box. Fifty-two miniatures led by General Grievous, covering the full range of what a Separatist force does: three units of B1 Battle Droids, two units of Droidekas, a unit of IG-100 MagnaGuards, and an AAT Trade Federation Battle Tank.

What makes it worth buying as a block rather than piece by piece is that those units were chosen to work together. The B1s supply activations and bodies to sit on objectives. The Droidekas and MagnaGuards supply the punch to remove whatever the B1s cannot. The AAT anchors a flank and makes your opponent respect the ground it covers. Grievous ties it together through command cards. That is a complete tactical plan rather than a shopping list.
