R2-D2 and C-3PO can join Rebel Alliance and Galactic Republic forces, with R2 built for infiltration and objective work while Threepio offers support of a rather more diplomatic kind.

These are not a combat purchase, and buying them expecting one will disappoint. What they give you is objective play, and objective play is how most Legion games are actually won. A small fast model that can get somewhere it has no business being, plus a support piece that helps the units around it, will quietly move the scoring in your favor without ever winning a firefight. The weakness is equally plain: neither of them enjoys being shot at, so plan routes, not charges.

Five unit cards is a lot for two miniatures and means real flexibility in how you field the pair from list to list.
