Underestimating Ewoks is a mistake the Empire made exactly once. This pack brings a unit of six to Rebel Alliance armies and to the Bright Tree Village Battle Force, and they play the way their reputation suggests: individually slight, collectively a problem nobody planned around.

Two unit cards let you decide whether the squad carries slings or spears, which is a real decision about role rather than a cosmetic one. Beyond the six warriors, an Axe Ewok miniature can fill the unit's heavy weapon slot and an Ewok Trapper can take its personnel slot, so a single pack gives you a squad you can tune in more than one direction. Five upgrade cards extend that further.

The honest assessment: Ewoks do not replace a solid Corps unit, and a list of nothing but Ewoks with no answer to armor will have a miserable afternoon against a walker. What they do well is flood ground, contest objectives and force an opponent to split attention. That is worth a great deal, and it plays nothing like a standard Rebel firing line.

  • The Logray & Wicket Commander Expansion to lead a properly themed Endor force
  • Rebel Troopers as a dependable backbone
  • Rebel Commandos for the strike team half of the Endor story
