Immune: Deflect is the line that earns these their slot. Jedi and Sith who bounce blaster fire back at whoever shot them simply cannot do it against droideka cannons, which makes a squad of them the Separatist answer to a lightsaber character running loose in the backfield.

Shielded 4 gives them a pool of protection that absorbs damage before any wound is taken, and Generator 1 restores part of it each round, so they recover between engagements rather than degrading steadily through a game. That is a very different durability model to armor, and it rewards pulling them out of fire for a turn to reset.

Speed 1 is the obvious limitation, answered in part by Wheel Mode and Reposition. AI: Attack is the droid tax: left unordered they will attack rather than do what you had planned, so order control decides how well they perform. Their cannons reach from melee out to range 3 and carry Suppressive.

Wrong unit if your list has to take ground. At speed 1 they hold a position well and chase nothing at all, and an opponent who wants to avoid them will do so easily.
