An Officer and an Agent divide the work between them, and the difference is worth grasping before you build either one. The Officer is a Commander with six wounds and Inspire 1, so he clears suppression off your line. The Agent is an Operative carrying Relentless, which lets him attack after a move.

Both hang off the Doctrine slot, which is where their character actually comes from, and between the two cards they carry thirteen upgrade slots for two miniatures. Ten upgrade cards in the box feed that appetite, spanning doctrines, armaments and gear.

Neither is built to fight. Combat Training rolls three black dice in melee and the blaster pistol covers range 1 to 2, enough to defend themselves and nothing beyond. White defense with a block surge says the same thing plainly: keep them behind the troopers, spend their actions on orders and support, and let Stormtroopers do the killing.
