Speed is the Galactic Republic's answer to a droid army that will always outnumber it. The BARC speeder is a single fast repulsor model built to scout ahead of the clone line, cut across the table to contest an objective the enemy assumed was theirs, and hit something soft before slipping away again.

Play it as a tool rather than a brawler. A BARC that spends the game harassing flanks, chasing down weakened units and denying uncontested objectives is earning its place. A BARC that drives into the front of a full-strength Corps unit is a gift to your opponent. It is a lone model, and anything that catches it will finish it.

The kit is unusually flexible for its size. You can build the speeder with a sidecar mounting an M-45 Ion Blaster or a Mark II Medium Blaster, or seat a Phase I Clone Trooper there with an RPS-6 rocket launcher, so the same miniature can be pointed at armor or at infantry depending on how you assemble it. A unit card and six upgrade cards give you further room to tune the loadout.

It works well with Clone Troopers Infantry holding the center, a Republic AT-RT covering the opposite flank, and any Jedi commander drawing attention. A characterful, low-commitment way for a newer Republic player to add real mobility to a static list.
