Where a B1 folds, a B2 keeps walking. B2 Super Battle Droids are the armored Corps option for the Separatist Alliance, and this nine-model unit is what you take when you want your objective holders to still be standing at the end of the turn they arrive.

The tactical difference is worth understanding before you build a list around them. B1s are cheap bodies that win by volume and by being everywhere at once. B2s are the opposite: fewer, tougher, and far more comfortable walking into midfield and staying there. That makes them excellent at claiming and keeping the middle of the table, and less efficient if what your list actually needed was more activations. Most droid armies want a mix of both.

Sits well alongside:

  • B1 Battle Droids for cheap activations and screening
  • Droidekas or BX-Series Droid Commandos when something needs removing
  • Super Tactical Droid Commanders or General Grievous' TSMEU-6 Wheel Bike to lead the force

Nine miniatures and bases come with a unit card, five upgrade cards and an insert. The chunky armor plates make these forgiving models for anyone learning to paint metallics, and nine of them build out a convincing droid army quickly. A sound first expansion after a starter set, and still a staple in experienced Separatist lists.
