Moonstone: Dim & Dimmer

One miniature. One stat card. Two names. Dim & Dimmer is billed as a pair and fielded as a single character, which is a very Moonstone way to do things.

This Monster Box contains one large multipart resin model with its stat card. The keywords are Giant and Mercenary, and the model is legal in both Commonwealth and Dominion troupes, because mercenaries do not care whose side they are on.

That dual legality is the selling point. Most Moonstone collections eventually drift towards two factions, and a model you can field in either is worth more than its single slot suggests. Gotchgut the Giant is the other Commonwealth and Dominion mercenary in this range, so between them you can keep a giant contingent that never sits at home.

On the Commonwealth side, put Dim & Dimmer behind gnomes: Brothers in Arms, Mama's Boys and Outlanders all leave a fourth slot a giant fills nicely. On the Dominion side, the goblins of Goblin City or Rule the Roost benefit from exactly the same treatment.

Dim & Dimmer v3 appears in the Stat Card Errata Pack 2025. A large, generous sculpt and a good display piece, but not a starting purchase: buy a troupe box first. Supplied unassembled and unpainted.
