Four Asgardians in one box, and two of them are leaders, which is the detail that makes this a foundation purchase rather than a top-up. The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster, can head a squad and also plays A-Force. Loki, Prince of Lies can head a very different one, and his Criminal Syndicate legality means he is not stranded if you never build Asgard at all. Alongside them, Thor, Hero of Midgard is the heavy hitter of the set and Lady Sif is the disciplined swordswoman who fills out the middle of the roster.

Asgard plays like it reads: durable, hard-hitting, comfortable in a brawl and not especially subtle about it. The weakness is mobility and reach. If your opponent refuses the fight and plays for objectives on the flanks, four powerful models can still lose a game they were winning on damage.
