A Web Warriors roster runs out of bodies long before it runs out of ideas, and that is the gap these two fill. Gwen Stacy of Earth-65 bonded to a symbiote and Ben Reilly, the clone who decided to be a hero anyway, are both mid-cost characters legal only for the Web Warriors, so this box deepens one affiliation rather than spreading across several.

That narrowness is the trade. If you play Web Warriors these are two more characters for a roster that wants a fifth and sixth option, and both bring the web-based movement tricks that define how the affiliation gets around a board. If you do not play Web Warriors, there is nothing here for you, because neither character reaches into another list.

In play they favour the same approach as the rest of the faction: arrive somewhere unexpected, take the point, leave before the counter-attack. Gwenom is the more aggressive of the two. Neither will hold a position against a heavyweight, so do not ask them to.

Three Team Tactic Cards come with them. The natural companion box is Web-Swinging Heroes, which supplies the Spider-Man core these two are designed to support.
