Mechanically those implants translate into adaptability. The unit reshapes itself around what a given game demands, instead of locking into one role at the moment you write your list, which makes it among the more flexible bodies a Scions of Yaldabaoth player can field. That is useful in two separate situations: filling a hole in a force you have already built, and reinforcing a plan that is going well.

For anyone researching the faction, that makes this a sensible early purchase. Specialist models are more interesting to read about, but a unit that can be whatever the game requires is what stops a young collection feeling brittle.
