Warcrow: Unrelenting

Dwarves are supposed to hold ground. The Unrelenting do the opposite, and that inversion is the entire reason they exist in a Mounthaven list.

This is a shock unit meant to be thrown at whatever your opponent most wants to protect. The command ability they carry, Battering Rams, exists for a single purpose: prising defenders out of a position they have settled into. If you keep losing games to a shooting line parked exactly where you needed to be, this is the unit that goes and takes the argument to them.

That makes them an odd fit alongside the rest of the faction, and a useful one. Dwarf armies here tend to be built around endurance, which works right up until the scoring position is somewhere you are not standing. The Unrelenting supply forward pressure that a defensive core cannot generate on its own, so lists that include them are usually lists that had a mobility problem first.

• Mounthaven is the dwarven faction, and this unit plays against its usual grain
• A unit box rather than a single character
