Star Wars Unlimited: Spark of Rebellion Booster Display

Set 1 is where the game started, and it remains the broadest entry point into the card pool. Spark of Rebellion pulls from the original trilogy, from Rogue One and from the Rebels series, so the characters in it are the ones most people picture when they think of Star Wars at all.

A display is twenty-four sealed packs. Each contains:

• Nine common cards
• Three uncommons
• A rare or legendary
• A foil
• A leader
• A base or token

Nothing in here is prebuilt. You open packs and build, or you draft. There is no rulebook and no assembled deck, so a first-time player is better served by a starter set or a Spotlight Deck and should come back for a display afterwards.

Two reasons people still buy Set 1 displays years after release. First, the commons and uncommons here are the cheap connective tissue of a great many decks, and a display is the least expensive way to get them in quantity. Second, Spark of Rebellion remains legal in formats that allow the full card pool, so this is not a museum piece.

Twenty-four packs also seats a draft pod comfortably.
