Star Wars Unlimited: Soft Crate - Rey / Kylo Ren

Sequel-trilogy representation is thin on the ground in Star Wars: Unlimited accessories, which makes the Rey and Kylo Ren crate the obvious pick if that is your era. It appeared in the second design wave, ahead of the Clone Wars pairings.

One deck, sixty cards, double-sleeved, and no cards supplied. Storage only.

The Soft Crate formula is well established by now, and this box uses all of it:

• Click-lock token box that keeps counters in place as it comes free of the crate
• Cobra Neck flap opening more than 180 degrees, staying upright during play
• Lid that locks itself
• Write-on strip and internal separator

Second-wave crates tend to be a little cheaper on the shelf than the current wave, with no change to the construction. If the artwork suits you, there is no functional reason to prefer a newer design.

One practical note for anyone building a collection of these: the crates stack and stand consistently across waves, so a shelf of second and third wave boxes lines up cleanly. Only the printing differs.
