Star Wars Unlimited: Soft Crate - Darth Maul

Red and black, horns, and a deck box that makes plain which side of the Force you brought. The Darth Maul Soft Crate came out of the same Gamegenic wave as the Unlimited Pattern and Qui-Gon designs, and it is the loudest of the three.

It ships empty. No cards, no counters, nothing playable. What it does is carry one Star Wars: Unlimited deck at full size, double-sleeved, without you having to think about it again.

Features that matter in practice:

• An integrated token box that clicks closed, so lifting it out does not spill counters across the table
• A flap using Cobra Neck geometry, opening beyond 180 degrees and staying upright while you play
• A lid held shut by its own catch
• A write-on strip and an internal separator

Soft Crates sit in the affordable tier of Gamegenic's range, and that is the appeal: you can own one per deck instead of shuffling lists in and out of a single expensive case. The fabric shell also takes knocks in a bag better than rigid plastic, which cracks at the corners.

If Maul is your leader, having the box match the deck is a small pleasure and it costs nothing extra.
