Star Wars Unlimited: Soft Crate Ahsoka Tano/General Grievous

Clone Wars artwork, from the same third design wave as the Obi-Wan crate. Ahsoka Tano takes one face and General Grievous the other, which happens to mirror the two decks in the Twilight of the Republic starter set exactly.

That is a genuinely useful pairing. Buy the starter, buy two of these, and each player's deck lives in the box that matches its leader.

Holds one 60-card deck at full size, double sleeves included. No cards come with it.

The mechanical parts:

• A token box on a click-lock catch, so counters do not scatter when it is lifted out
• Cobra Neck flap that swings past 180 degrees and holds position
• Lid that locks itself
• Write-on strip
• Inner separator that steadies the deck with the token box in place or out of it

That last clause is the useful detail. Take the token box out and a lesser deck box leaves a gap the cards immediately fall into. Here the separator fills it.

Soft Crates are the affordable tier of the Gamegenic range and are meant to be bought in numbers, one per deck. The fabric shell takes a knock better than rigid plastic, and the write-on strip means you can tell six of them apart in a bag.
