Star Wars Unlimited: Legends of the Force - Spotlight Deck - Qui-Gon Jinn

Four full playsets in this deck exist nowhere else. That is the unusual part of the Qui-Gon Jinn Spotlight Deck: those cards were never printed into Legends of the Force boosters, so opening packs will not get you them at any volume.

The deck itself runs to fifty cards, built and legal as it comes, with Qui-Gon leading and a base included. Nothing to assemble.

Legends of the Force is Set 5, the Force-user release: Jedi, Sith and everyone else who bends the galaxy by will rather than firepower. Qui-Gon's list plays rather like the man did, patient and awkward to pin down.

Its card mix is drawn from Sets 1 through 5 rather than Set 5 alone, which has two consequences worth knowing:

• New players get a broad, functional deck instead of a narrow one
• Experienced players get staples they may already own, alongside those four exclusive playsets

Buy it to play and it works immediately. Buy it for the singles and it is one of the cheaper routes to those four playsets, which is why this deck tends to keep selling long after its set has moved off the new release shelf.
