Star Wars Unlimited: Legends of the Force - Spotlight Deck - Darth Maul

Maul's list treats the Force as something to hit people with. This is the aggressive dark side option in Legends of the Force, applying pressure early rather than building toward a late-game payoff.

Four full playsets in this box cannot be pulled from boosters. They were printed for the deck alone, which is why these tend to hold their value with collectors well after a set leaves the shelf.

The deck runs to fifty cards and arrives assembled, with a leader and a base included. Nothing to construct.

Legends of the Force is Set 5, the release given over to Jedi, Sith and Force users generally. The card mix here spans Sets 1 through 5 rather than the newest set alone, which means:

• A new player gets a rounded deck instead of a narrow, set-locked one
• An established player gets four exclusive playsets plus staples that can be redeployed elsewhere

The box also holds one sealed Legends of the Force booster.

The Qui-Gon Jinn deck from the same wave is its natural opponent, and the two together make an evening of games without either player needing to own anything else at all.
