Ten Mission cards and a punch sheet, which is a far larger dose of scenario variety than a single-mission pack provides. This was the first set of mission material released outside the Core Set, and it is still the cheapest way to stop playing the same game twice.

What it does on the table: new objective layouts and mission rules, so the shape of the board shifts from game to game. A squad that always wins by sitting on the middle suddenly has to chase something, and a strike team you thought was finished turns out to have a hole in it.

Who it is for: any group past its first month. Two players with built collections get more out of ten scenarios than out of another squad box, because the models they already own start being used in ways they were not before.

Who it is not for: a hobbyist who buys mainly to paint, and anyone yet to build two full squads. No miniatures, no dice, no rulebook, only cards and tokens.
