One Mission card, nine Struggle cards and a small punch board, and it is the Struggle cards that earn this pack its place. They pay out according to what kind of unit you have on the table when a struggle is scored, so the deck rewards deliberate squad building instead of treating every list identically.

That makes it more interesting than a plain change of layout. A strike team stacked with troopers and one stacked with Force users will score differently from the same cards, and a player who reads the deck before picking a squad gains a real edge.

It suits a group that plays often enough to have habits. If your table already knows which player always takes the centre and which one always flanks, this is the purchase that makes those habits stop working.

What it will not do is add a model, alter how combat resolves, or give a newcomer anything to build. Nothing here needs glue or paint, so buy it for a collection that is already playable.
