Star Wars Shatterpoint: First Contact Mission Pack

A small box that changes the terms of every game played from it. The Mission card supplies a fresh objective layout, the nine Struggle cards feed the scoring across a game, and the punchboard provides the tokens that layout needs once it hits the table.

Here is why mission material matters more than it looks. Two players who own three squads between them will play the same handful of games forever if the scenario never moves, and rotating in a different layout makes familiar models behave differently without anyone building another miniature.

Best owned a few packs deep, so that nobody at the table has the deck memorized. One extra scenario in a collection is a small change; several shuffled together is a different game night entirely.

Not worth buying if you have yet to play through the Core Set missions, if your collection is still one squad, or if you were hoping for models. There are cards and cardboard tokens in here and nothing more, and it assumes the rulebook is already open in front of you.
