Star Wars: Shatterpoint - First Contact Mission Pack

Mission packs are the cheapest way to change how Shatterpoint plays, and this is the fourth of them. One Mission card sets a fresh objective layout, nine Struggle cards feed the three struggles that decide a game, and a punchboard supplies the tokens the layout needs.

What it changes is deployment. A different arrangement of objectives means the positions you have learned to trust sit somewhere else, and a squad built to camp one central point has to start moving instead. Groups that have drilled the same two or three scenarios get the most out of it.

What it does not change: no new characters, no new combat rules, nothing to assemble or paint. If your table has only ever played the mission that came in the Core Set, this is a correction to that habit rather than a true expansion.

It suits a group with two or more built collections that meets regularly. A collector still assembling a first strike team can leave it on the shelf for now and lose nothing by waiting.
