Separatist droids get their headline act. General Grievous takes the Primary slot with the box's Force behind him, the super tactical droid Kraken comes in as the Secondary, and two B2 Battle Droids hold Support, which makes a complete Clone Wars squad the moment the glue sets.

Every card except Grievous himself carries the Battle Droid tag, and the B2s add Trooper on top, so this squad sits neatly beside other droid units and is one of the cleanest ways to open a Separatist collection. Grievous is the melee threat, and he is the reason an opposing Jedi player has to think carefully about where they stand.

The natural partner is a second Separatist squad with a Primary of its own so the two can advance on separate flanks. Terror From Below is the obvious candidate if you want variety rather than another rank of droids.

Who should skip it: a player who prefers a patient shooting army. This is a brawler leading a screen of droid bodies, and anyone who would rather hold the back line will get more from the Empire's trooper boxes.
