Star Wars Legion: Upgrades Card Pack

One hundred and ninety-one cards, not one of them tied to a faction or a named unit, is a strange sort of product and a genuinely useful one. This is the generic layer of the game: grenades, gear, training and comms that any army in it can take.

The problem it solves is mundane and constant. Generic upgrades arrive one to a box, so two squads that both want the same piece of kit end up sharing a single card, and you spend the game remembering which unit is meant to have it. Owning duplicates removes that friction completely, along with the temptation to build a list around what you can physically find instead of what you actually wanted.

It also future-proofs a collection. Faction packs age as units get added and revised, but the generic layer sits underneath every army you might build later, including one you have not started yet.

Not for a new player. With one or two boxes on the shelf, the cards already packed alongside them cover everything you can field, and this will sit unused until the collection grows into it.
