Hiring these hunters is a different proposition to fielding a faction commander, because the Mercenary keyword decides which armies may take them at all. Din Djarin contracts to the Empire and the Rebels. The Boba Fett profiles differ from one another, one open to the Rebellion and another to the Empire, so read the card against your list before committing to it.

Both are Operatives with five wounds, red defense and a block surge, both carry Impervious to blank enemy Pierce, and both run Independent keywords that generate their own aim or dodge tokens when no order reaches them. That self-sufficiency is the whole point, letting them work far from your commander without being wasted.

Din Djarin brings Arsenal 2, Bounty and Tactical 1, with a versatile blaster pistol carrying Lethal 1. Boba Fett leans toward mobility and reach, with jump movement, Sharpshooter and an EE-3 carbine reaching range 3 with Pierce 1.
