Star Wars Legion: Outer Rim Battles Terrain Pack

A Legion table without terrain is not a hard game, it is a short one. Two armies in the open shoot each other apart by turn three and the objectives barely get a look in. This pack is the cure, and it covers a whole board rather than one corner of it.

What terrain really provides is decisions. Walls and towers give a unit somewhere to be that is not simply in front of the enemy, the ruined complex turns a patch of floor into ground worth fighting over, and the smaller scatter pieces break long fire lanes so a slow unit has a route forward. Every army you own plays better on a board with cover, and lists that live on movement and positioning, Scout Troopers or Rebel Commandos for instance, go from frustrating to genuinely dangerous.

The pieces are made to be assembled, painted and rearranged, so one box builds a different battlefield every week. Useful to everyone at the table regardless of faction, and a rewarding hobby project in its own right.
