Moonstone: Wild Things

Fauns run to type in Moonstone, and this is the box where that type gets some spread. Gloom, Chubs and the Wendigo make a Leshavult troupe of three, each with a stat card of its own.

Gloom is the Wizard, arcane 4 at seven energy pips, with two inches of melee reach so she is not helpless when something closes. Chubs is the cheap one at six pips, a plain Faun with an arcane value of 4 and no pretensions about durability. The Wendigo is the outlier: a 40mm sculpt carrying both Faun and Spirit, eight pips, melee 4, and no arcane at all. It hits and it endures, and it leaves the card play to the other two.

Three models is close to a whole force, since a troupe here runs to about four. What you are buying is a working Leshavult core with the roles already divided, rather than three variations on one idea. In a game where every contest is a duel of cards, having one model that threatens and two that manipulate puts you in a better position than three of anything.
