Moonstone: Tumbledown Street

A publican, a hired sword, and a man whose medical credentials nobody has thought to check.

Tumbledown Street is a Commonwealth troupe box with three Human miniatures in fine quality resin, each with a stat card: Agatha, Tavernfrau, Fritz (Human, Mercenary, Soldier) and Quack (Human, Wizard, Cleric).

Quack is the reason to buy it. Wizard and Cleric on the same card appears nowhere else in this range, and it hands a Commonwealth troupe both halves of the support job in a single model, which in a four-character game is the difference between having room for a fighter and not having room for one. Fritz doubles as Mercenary and Soldier, so two of the three models here cover more than one role.

That makes Tumbledown Street a good complement to a more conventional trio. The Barony and Administration of Justice both give you three straightforward Commonwealth humans, and dropping Quack in alongside them is an easy upgrade. If you want a heavyweight fourth instead, Brunhilde the Giant, Gotchgut the Giant, Matilda and Sir Hogswash are all Commonwealth-legal.

Works as a first box and stays useful long afterwards. The three are visually distinct enough to be pleasant to paint as a batch without repeating yourself. Multipart resin, unpainted and unassembled.
