Moonstone: The Masquerade

Not every Dominion troupe is goblins and faeries. The Masquerade is the box for the faction's human aristocracy and the people it employs.

Two Rogues and a Noble makes this the most focused trio the Dominion offers here, and a very different proposition to the goblin boxes. Rogue-heavy troupes want to be somewhere other than the obvious place, which suits a game where the board is cluttered, the moonstones are rarely where you would like them, and half the skill is being in position before your opponent works out what you intended.

It is also the box that lets you field a Dominion troupe without a single goblin in it, which is worth something if you like the faction and not its greenskins. Add a fourth from Vespa, Barnakelle or any of the Dominion trolls, or bring the courts back in with Dark Deeds, Shadowglade or The Enclave.

Suits an established player more than a newcomer: three subtle models with no obvious anvil among them asks a bit more of you in your first few games. Multipart resin, unassembled and unpainted.
