Moonstone: The Faculty

Gnomes are the Commonwealth's dependable option, and the Faculty is the most dependable box of them. All three models sit at eight energy pips with an evade value of zero: no fragile specialists, nothing that folds the first time an opponent commits a good card.

The keywords are where they separate. Prof. Boffinsworth is the Cleric, arcane 4, the one who keeps the rest of the troupe upright. Old Polly is the Rogue, the same arcane 4 with a point more melee, handling the work an academic institution would rather not minute. Flinders Memphis carries Machine alongside Gnome, a scarce keyword in Moonstone and the reason this set turns up in lists that already have plenty of bodies.

Each arrives with a stat card and a 30mm base. Three models is most of a troupe, given a force here runs to about four, so treat this as a Commonwealth core rather than a supplement to one. In a game settled by card duels, a trio with no weak link means an opponent cannot pick the soft target and start there.
