Moonstone: Life & Death Struggle: Two Player Starter Set

The other way into Moonstone, and the more interesting one if you already know the newer factions are what drew you in.

Two complete four-character troupes in fine quality resin with bases and stat cards. On one side, four Shades of Moonreach models: Negroli, Greymair, Serif and Angerboda. On the other, four fauns legal for the Leshavult and the Commonwealth: Jayda, Hoff, Mr Toodles and Jackalope. The set also includes two Psychopomp tokens with stat cards for Brave Sir Pidge and Flay, Bearer of Knowledge, so you meet the summoning side of the Shades in your first game.

Everything else needed to play is here: the Moonstone Card Deck (18 Melee Cards, 21 Arcane Cards, 2 quick reference cards), a rules pamphlet, 49 blue energy counters, the measuring widget, seven four-sided dice and two six-sided dice.

Worth knowing before you buy twice. The Shades trio here is the same three models as the Never Ending Knights troupe box, and the fauns are the Hunting Horns trio. Angerboda and Jackalope are the additions. To expand without duplication, look at The Shady Bunch or Freaky Fugday for Shades and A Witch In Time for Leshavult.
