Moonstone Game Deck

The deck both players draw from. Fights in this game are settled by card play instead of dice, so what you are looking at is not an accessory: it is the resolution engine, and every table needs one.

Inside are eighteen combat cards, twenty-one arcane cards and two quick reference cards. Combat and arcane are kept apart because the game treats them apart, and the reference cards exist so nobody has to open the rulebook halfway through a duel.

There are two reasons to buy one. The first is that you do not have it yet, because you came into the game through single models and troupe boxes rather than a starter set, and none of those include the shared deck. The second is that yours has aged. A deck this small gets handled constantly, and marked backs matter enormously when bluffing is most of the skill: an opponent who can read your hand from the wear pattern is not really guessing.

A spare also lets a second table run at a club night without anyone waiting their turn. If you are the one who hosts, that is usually reason enough on its own.

Cards only. No models, and no rulebook; the rules live in their own volume and each character brings its own stat card.
