Moonstone: Firespitter

A large goblin with a name like a warning label. Firespitter is a Dominion Monster Box: one big Goblin miniature in fine quality resin with its stat card, multipart and supplied unassembled.

Goblin and Soldier is a tighter keyword pair than most of the Dominion's larger models carry. Where the trolls in this range read as hired muscle bolted onto a goblin warband, Firespitter reads as part of the war effort itself, which makes the model an easier thematic fit in a pure goblin troupe.

That is the case for buying it. Take Goblin City (Doug the Flatulent, Vicious Syd, Beaky Bobby), Mushrooms and Mayhem (Seasick Stu, Shabaroon, Boom Boom McBoom) or Rule the Roost (The Goblin King, Herbert Growbottom, The Mortician), add Firespitter, and you have a standard four-character troupe that is goblin from top to bottom. Booty's Bilge works the same way if you prefer pirates.

For anyone who came to Moonstone through the Dusk till Dawn Two Player Starter Set, this is a sensible first expansion. That set's goblins are Doug, Beaky Bobby, Vicious Syd and Grub, so Firespitter gives you a genuinely different kind of model to swap in rather than a duplicate.

Bigger than a rank-and-file goblin and correspondingly nicer to paint. Unpainted and unassembled.
