Moonstone Campaign Deck (Complete)

Who this is for: anyone running a Moonstone campaign, meaning a series of linked games where your characters carry progress from one battle into the next. This deck is the mechanism that makes that work, and every player taking part in a campaign needs access to it.

Who does not need it: a player who only ever plays one-off pick-up games and is happy that way. Moonstone works perfectly well without it.

That second group is smaller than it looks, though. The Upgrade Cards can be used outside campaign play as well, which turns the deck into a variety pack: extra tricks and bonus abilities bolted onto characters you already own, without buying a single new miniature. For a group that plays the same four troupes every week, that is the easiest way to make the game feel new again.

This is the updated boxed edition, complete with cards for all four factions including Shades of Moonreach. It contains 92 Campaign Cards, 61 Upgrade Cards and a Campaign Quick Reference Card.

One warning. If you already own the older out-of-production Campaign Deck and only want the newest faction added to it, buy the Shades Campaign Expansion Pack instead. Owning both is redundant. The campaign structure itself is explained in The Arising.
