Moonstone: Boulder the Troll

Sometimes the answer to a clever plan is a very large rock with opinions.

Boulder is a Dominion Troll sold as a Monster Box: one large multipart resin miniature and its stat card. No trio, no cards beyond the one, just the model.

Trolls are the Dominion's answer to a roster that is mostly goblins and faeries, which is to say small, quick, tricky models with nothing much that wants to stand still and be hit. A standard troupe is four characters, and spending one of those on a troll changes how your opponent has to approach the table. Moonstone rewards players who make an opponent guess, and a troll in the middle of the board is a very loud kind of guess.

Pair him with Goblin City or Mushrooms and Mayhem for a straightforward goblins-plus-muscle troupe, or with Shadowglade and The Enclave if you prefer faeries doing the clever work while something enormous holds the middle. The Dominion has three other trolls in this range, Bristlenose, Ribald and Knoll, so you can decide how far to take it.
