Moonstone: Blood Magic

Faeries do not take a punch. All three models here sit at six energy pips with an evade value of minus two, which in practice means the Dominion's faeries win a fight by ending it early or they do not win it at all.

You get Diana, Queen of the Fae, alongside Foxglove and Belladonna, each on a 30mm base with a stat card. Diana is the strongest of the three on paper, melee 4 and arcane 4, a Faerie Noble who can carry either half of a card duel. Belladonna is the Rogue, matching that melee 4 with less arcane weight behind it. Foxglove splits the difference, Rogue and Wizard both, and is the one you keep back for the turn the plan changes.

A Moonstone troupe is roughly four models, so these three are most of a Dominion force on their own, and a very committed one. The game turns on bluffing and card play, and a troupe this fragile has to bluff harder than most: you cannot afford to lose an exchange you could have declined. Players who enjoy the read more than the safety net tend to end up here.
