Moonstone: Black Powder

Three pirates, and one of them is not a person. Black Powder is a Dominion troupe built on the Pirate keyword, and the models in it cover more ground than a trio usually manages.

Swash is the fighter, a Human Pirate with a melee value of 5 at two inches of reach, about as blunt an offensive profile as the Dominion sells at this level. Peggy sits at the same eight energy pips but splits her attention: melee 3 at two inches with an arcane value of 4, so she can duel or cast depending on what you are holding. The Powder Monkey is the Animal of the group, seven pips and cheap, useful for taking ground and forcing an opponent to spend cards on something that was never the real threat.

All three stand on 30mm bases with stat cards of their own. Moonstone resolves every fight through card play instead of dice, so a troupe of roughly four models lives or dies on having options, and a set that hands you a hitter, a caster and a runner in one go is a direct way to get them.
