Marvel Crisis Protocol: Weapon X & Maverick

A small, focused pack, and the entry point for the Weapon X affiliation. This is not the Wolverine you already own: Weapon X is Logan at his most feral, the version the programme made rather than the man who escaped it. Maverick, Christoph Nord, is a former freedom fighter turned mercenary who came through the same experiments, and this is his first appearance on the tabletop.

Both sit at the cheap end of the threat scale, and neither is a centrepiece. What they are is the seed of an affiliation, which changes how you should think about the purchase: on their own they are two solid, aggressive models you can drop into most lists, and as the start of a Weapon X project they are the models everything else attaches to.

It is also a compact box, with fewer cards than the four-character packs, so judge it as two characters rather than as a roster in a box.
