Marvel Crisis Protocol: Valkyrie on Elendil & Warriors Three

Two miniatures, two stat cards, and between them they solve the two problems an Asgard roster runs into most often. Valkyrie and Elendil is a mounted character built for speed, the piece you use to reach an objective on the far side of the table or to arrive somewhere your opponent had written off as safe. The Warriors Three are Fandral, Hogun and Volstagg fighting as a single character on one base, which means one activation buys you a body that hits harder than its cost suggests.

That combination matters because Asgard normally fields very few, very expensive characters. These two are the affordable end of the affiliation, and adding them is usually what turns an Asgard list from three heavyweights that cannot cover the map into something that can actually score a crisis.

Four Team Tactic Cards come along with them. Buy this if you already own an Asgard core, whether that came from the starter set or one of the affiliation packs, since it is reinforcement rather than a foundation. Note that a mounted Valkyrie does not replace the original on foot, they are separate characters, and neither of these two can lead the affiliation.
