Marvel Crisis Protocol: Shrine to En Sabah Nur Terrain Pack

A shrine and two chests is a small box, and the chests are the part worth thinking about. Objects you can place around a board give a table interior geography: things to stand behind, things to climb, things that make a stretch of open ground worth crossing. The shrine gives the board a focal point, and the pair of chests give it texture without dominating anything.

A One-Shot Card is included, so the shrine can carry a rule rather than just a silhouette, which is the difference between terrain that changes decisions and terrain that decorates them.

It is squarely aimed at an Apocalypse-themed table, and it is the cheapest way to start one. Alongside the Dark Future Terrain Pack and the Rejuvenation Chamber Ultimate Encounter it builds into a coherent board for Servants of the Apocalypse games.

Do not buy it expecting to furnish a table. Three pieces will not do that, and if your board is currently empty a city block set or a large building is a far better first purchase. Buy it if you already have terrain and want a themed focal point, or if you paint for display and want a striking small project.
